On the front side of the Kremlin wall. On the background of the Kremlin wall the T-34 tank with a group of soldiers on it. In the left part of the coin image of the monument to Minin and Pozharsky and in the right part of the coin tower. Over Kremlin wall one can see the dome of the Government building with the flag, on the flag the hammer and sickle. Above the dome of aircraft silhouettes. In the upper part of the coin along the circumference the inscription "FOR DEFENSE of MOSCOW". In the lower part of the coin circumference Laurel wreath, the lower ends of branches, five-pointed star. Obverse side of the coin edged convex knob.
