WW2 Soviet Medal for Combat Service

WW2 Soviet Medal for Combat Service instituted 17th October 1938 the medal is made of Silver with an inlay of Red enamel the obverse of the award reads USSR in red enamel (Most of it has gone) with the words “Combat Service” above a crossed Sabre & Mosin-Nagant rifle with fixed Bayonet. The award is mounted on a two piece five sided suspension device and I believe it to be a Type 2 Variation 1 the serial number is 1515971
