WW2 Soviet Medal for the Victory over Japan

Mounted on an old two piece five sided suspension device the obverse shows an image of Stalin and above reads “For Victory Over Japan” the reverse reads 3 September 1945 in three lines

The medal is awarded to all servicemen and civilian volunteers in the Red Army, Navy and NKVD who directly took part in the combat ranks of the 1st 2nd Far Eastern and Trans-Baikal Fronts, Pacific Ocean Fleet and Amur River Flotilla against the Japanese Imperialists
